Gigantic MEC store. 2 sprawling floors of gear and, supplies and apparel. Very clean and modern. Knowledgeable staff to assist with your needs. This location reminded me of the Queen Street W location in Toronto however, I think it's larger.

Terribly organized company. We were trying set up a a conjoined birthday event a few weeks in advance. They kept telling us everything was okay and would be fine for the date. Two days before the event still no confirmation. No one answering emails or phones. The day before the event the same thing. Day of the event still no answer by phone or email.We had to cancel the event of 25+ people.Very, very unprofessional and irresponsible company.Saddening, because we were very excited for this event and were eager to play.Unfortunately, I will never recommend this company to anyone after this experience and really have nothing good to say.

Sports Rent is great! Knowledgeable, quick, and helpful staff. Reasonable prices, plus a very helpful 24 hr rental policy where you can pick up equipment the night before.

I recently purchased a smart trainer for my road bike at MEC on the South side. This is an industry that is completely new to me thus my knowledge is minimal. Not knowing much about road biking and especially trainers I felt uneasy and out of my element walking into MEC. The reception I had received by the gentlemen in the bike department completely exceeded any expectations I had. I wish I had gotten his name but he went out of his way and took his time to explain to me everything I required. I really appreciated that he sold me exactly what would meet my needs and did not try to up sell me something that would not resonate with my experience level . I felt extremely appreciated as a customer and felt listened to. I have worked in retail sales in the past and hope I exuded half as much excitement and knowledge to the people I helped as I received that day. I had a great overall experience and I will be back.

Absolutely incredible evening on the water. As a first timer I was worried about falling or never actually standing up. Jojo was an enthusiastic and helpful instructor who ensured that everyone in our group was safe and felt comfortable on the water. Won't hesitate to go out with her again.

C'est le plus beau Club de ski de fond au Québec. 50 km de pistes. Bien entretenu. Du facile et du difficile. Un resto. Des refuges. Des cours pour tous. Des activités sociales. Des membres super sympas.

Salesman didn't want to sell me skates as we didn't find a pair that didn't hurt me. I know most others would have sold me something and I would be unhappy. I finally bought elsewhere but my kids and girlfriend ended up going there and I tell everyone how excellent the service is!

Amazing service on all levels, no pressure sales, just a smile

My friend and I rented 2 kayaks from the marina and it was an amazing experience! The owner was so friendly and helped us in and out if the kayaks. The price was excellent 20.00 for 2hrs!! We got them for 2hrs and travelled to the Sauble Falls it was such an awesome trip! We stopped at the falls and rested then came back down the river what a blast! I highly recommend trying this. We will definetely be back!

Fantastic Canadian born store for outdoor gear and clothing, with a wide selection of items for hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, camping, running, and other outdoor activities. They have their own line of clothing and gear that is high-quality and moderately priced. They have an environmental ethos, with strong corporate sustainability commitments. This chain used to be a co-op that was member-run, though sadly it's now American-owned.
